In fashion one day you are in and the next day you are out but when it comes to musicals, Godspell has never gone out of style. The revival of Stephen Schwartz’s 1976 musical, currently running at the Circle in the Square Theatre, got the star treatment on the February 16 episode of Project Runway as contestants competed to have their designs worn in the Broadway production. Tasked to revamp the wardrobe of Uzo Aduba, who described her character as a “really rich material girl hoarding her wealth,” the designers had to make it work for judges Isaac Mizrahi, Georgina Chapman and special guest judge, Tony Award winner Sutton Foster.
